1. Operator

2. Definitions

Soz means the online service available at soz.kg for automatic Kyrgyz speech recognition, subtitle creation, editing and export.

Operator means OsOO “Norris Service”.

User means any person who visits the website, registers, uploads a file, submits a video link, starts processing, edits subtitles, exports results or opens a public link.

Project means the data set created by the User in Soz: source video or link, audio, recognized text, subtitles, settings, exported files and technical processing data.

3. Acceptance

The User accepts these Terms by registering, logging in, uploading a file, submitting a video link, starting processing, editing subtitles, exporting MP4/SRT/ASS/TXT, creating or opening a public link, or ticking a consent checkbox.

If the User does not agree with these Terms, the User must stop using Soz.

4. Service scope

Soz provides a technical service for video processing, audio extraction, automatic Kyrgyz speech recognition, subtitle creation and editing, export in MP4, SRT, ASS and TXT formats, temporary project storage and public sharing links if enabled.

Soz is not a permanent archive, legal review service, content moderation service or guarantee of transcription accuracy.

5. Account

An account may be required to create and store projects. The User must provide a valid email, keep the password confidential and must not transfer the account to third parties.

The Operator may suspend, restrict or delete an account if the User violates these Terms, bypasses limits, abuses resources, infringes third-party rights or creates a security risk.

6. Free limits and fair use

Soz is provided as a conditionally free service.

The Operator may calculate limits by account, email, IP address, cookie, device, browser, network and other technical signals to prevent circumvention.

7. Output quality

Speech recognition and subtitles are generated automatically. The result may contain errors, omissions, incorrect timestamps, punctuation errors, incorrect names or terms, dialect issues, mixed speech, noise or music artifacts.

The User must check and edit the output before publication, commercial use or transfer to third parties.

8. User content

The User retains ownership of User content. By submitting content to Soz, the User grants the Operator a limited technical right to use that content only to operate the service: upload, store, process, recognize, generate subtitles, render, export, display in the account, create a public link on the User's command, diagnose errors and maintain security.

The User warrants that the User has all rights, permissions and legal grounds to upload, process, transcribe, subtitle, edit, export and publish the submitted content.

9. YouTube and third-party platforms

If the User submits a YouTube or other external video link, the User is solely responsible for complying with the relevant platform terms and rights-holder permissions.

Soz does not grant any right to download, copy, modify, distribute or use third-party content unless the User has the appropriate permission or legal basis.

10. AI/STT and model training

Soz uses automated speech recognition tools. At this version, processing is performed on server infrastructure in the Kyrgyz Republic.

User-corrected subtitles, text edits and related technical data may be used to improve and fine-tune speech recognition models only if the User gives separate consent.

Source video and audio are not used for training without separate consent. Email, IP address, account identifiers, source links, project IDs and other direct identifiers must not be included in training datasets.

11. Public links

If the User creates a public link, anyone who receives the URL can access the material until expiry or revocation where revocation is available. `noindex` tags and sitemap exclusion reduce indexing risk but do not guarantee privacy.

12. Prohibited use

The User must not use Soz to process content without rights, infringe third-party rights, process illegal or harmful content, upload malicious files, bypass limits, perform SSRF/network scanning, abuse resources, use other accounts, or publish unlawful public links.

13. Storage and deletion

Soz does not guarantee permanent storage of source videos, audio, projects, subtitles, exports or public links. Project files may be stored up to 30 calendar days and may be deleted earlier for technical, operational, security, storage, legal or abuse reasons.

The User must download and keep required results independently.

14. Paid functions

At this version, Soz does not provide paid features, subscriptions, minute purchases, card payments or refunds. If paid functions are launched, the Operator will publish tariffs, payment terms, refund terms and applicable tax terms.

15. Liability

The User is solely responsible for User content, lawful processing, published materials, third-party rights and the consequences of using the output.

The Operator is not liable for automatic recognition errors, data loss within the temporary storage model, third-party platform unavailability, source audio quality, noise, dialects, technical limits or User actions.

16. Governing law and contacts

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic.
